Induction and Drop in Taster

Our Induction is a great introduction to WattBike. We will set you up on the bike and make sure you’re confident in making yourself comfortable going forward. We will also cover how to get the best out of the Wattbike in classes, drop in sessions and fitness tests.

Use the remaining time to get to know the bike.

Drop In Session

One hour, your session. Use the drop in session as you like.

These sessions are for you to train under your own instruction, whether it’s simply just peddling, following your own training plan, or using the Wattbike app.

Instructor Led Classes

An Instructor Led Class is designed for those who would like to train under instruction of a qualified Wattbike coach. 

Great for motivation, the WattBike allows a group to train together whilst still following their own targets. 

Class Duration - 50 minutes.

Beginner Classes

If you’re looking for some general fitness or want to add cardio to your routine, this is the class for you. 

We know the best ways to utilise your time so you can get the best out of yourself and having fun whilst doing it! No experience required.

FTP (Functional Threshold Power) Assessment

What is Functional Threshold Power?
Functional Threshold Power (FTP) represents your ability to sustain the highest possible power output over 45 to 60 minutes, depending on whether you’re a trained athlete or not. As a result 95% of the 20 minute average power is used to determine FTP.
Why measure FTP?
Regular assessments of your FTP give you an indication of whether you are improving your performance. Plus, FTP provides a good ‘benchmark’ on which to base cycling-specific training zones.

• 15 Minute Warm Up
• 20 Minute Test
• 10 Minute Warm Down
